The Community Relations Representative plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional resident experience throughout their journey at Essex. As the primary point of contact for residents, this role focuses on fostering positive relationships, managing communication, ensuring smooth move-in and move-out processes, and supporting community management operations with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as the primary contact for residents, managing all communications and inquiries via the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Facilitate seamless move-in and move-out experiences, including managing necessary paperwork and resident documentation.
- Promote an excellent resident experience by addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned community portfolio, including property-specific features and operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws, such as Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the Community Management Team to support community operations and meet customer satisfaction targets.
- Handle confidential resident and property information with discretion and professionalism.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management or CRM software.

WHAT THE JOB REQUIRES
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Comfortable utilizing a personal smart device for property operations and communication apps.

The salary range for this position is $25.96 - $35.10 per hour. New hires generally start between $25.96 - $30.29 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.
