This position is for a full-time Director, Talent Development to work at EAH Corporate in San Rafael, CA. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, training, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. 8-10 years of strong experience in talent management or organizational development, preferably within the field of performance management and employee learning, with experience designing, implementing, and driving enterprise level performance management and professional development programs tailored to all levels of an organization. 8+ years of experience in learning management systems. Yardi Learning Management System preferred. Experience with Success Factors or other competency-based performance management system preferred. Salary range: $105,000 - $180,000 per year; hiring range for new employees is generally $105,000 - $142,500 per year, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

<b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b>

  • Oversees enterprise-level development, design, and delivery of effective training solutions and strategies to build and enhance bench strength, leadership and managerial effectiveness based on current, emerging, and future business needs and to support employee development. (Instructional Design)
  • Oversees design and implementation of comprehensive talent development programs, including EAH University, EAH Academy and other training workshops, e-Learnings, coaching, mentoring, and career and professional development initiatives to improve workforce effectiveness. Manages development of job aids and other instructional material to ensure continued learning. (Instructional Design)
  • Ensures that needs assessments are conducted by team to identify gaps and areas for improvement in organizational performance. Consults with stakeholders and conducts necessary surveys to obtain information on key areas to focus on and develop training. Recognizes and advises on when training may not be appropriate solution to a performance gap (Gap Analysis)
  • Develops training and development initiatives and strategies to promote a positive work environment of belonging, motivation, and satisfaction for all employees. (Employee Engagement/Retention)
  • Oversees rollout of clear metrics and evaluation methods by team to assess the effectiveness and continuous improvement of professional development initiatives and presents findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management. 
  • Builds partnerships with external leadership development organizations and business partners to leverage better practices and resources. Maintains strong relationships with existing vendors, executive coaching, learning and development firms. Identifies and builds partnerships with vendors to develop new and ongoing training content.
  • Oversees design and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise-level mentorship program. Ensures alignment of program with company initiatives.
  • Oversees performance review platform and process. Ensures that performance reviews are conducted consistently and effectively.
  • Integrates professional development initiatives throughout the performance management process to promote and enhance employee growth and development.
  • Oversees company-wide Rewards and Recognition programs to support continued employee engagement and satisfaction. Ensures review of effectiveness of current platforms and implements options for improvement. Ensures collection of data to develop new programs or identify areas for improvement, including surveys from stakeholders. Ensures utilization of data from the performance review and HRIS platforms to support rewards and recognition.
  • Working with Department heads and Senior Leadership, establishes and maintains performance management parameters to ensure consistent and fair performance reviews. Ensures that performance criteria and guides are available to managers and supervisors.
  • Manages the overall learning and development budget and ensures effective use of budgeted amounts.
  • Actively participates in EAH’s Injury and Illness Prevention Plan
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

<b>QUALIFICATIONS</b>
