Your Part:

As a Multifamily Trainer, you are responsible for developing and delivering sales and software training such as leasing techniques, strong customer service skills for closing, and internal property management software, Yardi, Knock, On-Site, etc. You love a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on creating and delivering training to associates. You thrive in a collaborative environment, and you are not afraid to offer your input and provide work-flow solutions to procedures. You are organized and detailed but also like a fun energetic atmosphere. You can easily navigate between different projects within the day which showcases your creative design and facilitation skills.  You build rapport with our associates as you work closely with division leaders to ensure training needs and/or concerns are being met. You’re known for being dependable and you get satisfaction in motivating others through training efforts. You like being responsible for creating a training program from inception to end and seeing the end result. You provide support in maintaining the brand that is our University.

This position offering $38.46 to $43.27 per hour depending on experience, a discretionary year end bonus opportunity, plus benefits!

What We’d Love for You to Bring to the Table as a Multifamily Trainer:

Here’s the deal.  You have at least 4 years of property management experience (leasing, assistant manager, community manager). Hey, you may even have a bachelor’s degree in a related area - that would be great as well! You are proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and may have experience using other content development tools. You have a knack for presenting the most complex topics into easy-to-understand training. You are excited to learn about instructional design theory and don’t shy away from using technology, you enjoy it! You may have worked with a Learning Management System (LMS), that’s great! You are comfortable delivering training in-person and via webinar-based platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, etc. and are a good communicator who enjoys participating in meetings and offering up ideas and suggestions.  You are willing to continue to enhance and expand your skill set in the training and development industry and are willing to travel as needed. Your California Driver’s License is up to date as is your car insurance.  Your driving record is something you’re proud of, even if it’s not perfect.
