Affordable Regional Portfolio Manager -
The Affordable Regional Portfolio Manager (RPM) is directly responsible for managing a group of assigned assets and is accountable for all operations of the assets in their inventory, all on-site employees and enforcing all Company policies, procedures and internal operations, with the overall objective of meeting the expectations of each Client, based on the respective operating budget and management agreement.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE has a minimum of 4 years' experience in a multi-site Property Management role. Is a dynamic leader with supervisory experience, possessing the ability to positively influence, mentor and lead a large dispersed team. Must have knowledge of various compliance regulations. Has competent financial and analytical skills, and excellent reporting ability. Is technologically savvy and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and property management software (i.e.: Yardi). Has excellent people skills, is highly motivated and organized with a positive attitude and has a desire to provide quality customer service. Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to travel.
Additional requirements for Affordable Housing properties:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with affordable housing programs including but not limited to: LIHTC, HUD programs (Project Based Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA), USDA-Rural Development (515), HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds.
- Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO, etc.) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent required, 4-year college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the field of property management. Certification or designation from an accredited organization (ARM, CAM, CAPS, COS, CPM, MPM, RMP), preferred. English language proficiency (read, speak and write). Valid Driver's License and insured, operable vehicle (proof of insurance required). Ability to pass a full background check and drug screening (Note: As it relates to marijuana use, FPI will consider any applicable state law when dispositioning test results)
