Maintenance Tech

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who knows their way around the general maintenance requirements of an apartment community with pride. You provide the knowledge and hard work - we'll provide the tools and supplies to get the job done!

Located in San Francisco near the Moscone Center, our property is a 250-unit apartment building for seniors. Our residents are important to us.  Our mission is to provide clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable housing, and to do so in an environment that is sensitive and responsive.

The ideal candidate must possess 2 years minimum prior experience in general maintenance.  Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven work record repairing general maintenance items, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical systems, and unit turns.  Prior experience in affordable housing and working with seniors preferred.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for performing property upkeep duties along with regular and preventative maintenance tasks in an apartment facility.  Keep common areas clean and functional. Respond to building or resident apartment issues including lock outs, apartment turnovers, minor plumbing, electrical and appliance and daily ground inspections. Understand and adhere to safety practices.
