We are seeking a talented individual for Contract Specialist role with knowledge and experience as an administrator. This role will assist the manager to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations. Negotiate terms and condition, manages, drafts, negotiates contract amendments, and ensures compliance with contract requirements and budget.

Principle ResponsibilitiesGenerate and execute contracts/change orders per company policy
Ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
Ensure that contractors are in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
Provide advice and technical assistance with Budgets, Yardi, FileMaker and VendorCafe
Work with contractors and Invoice Department to resolve invoice and contractual issues
Work with Project Managers to ensure that budget revisions are made in compliance with scope changes.
Updates records of all correspondence related to contract activity.
Maintain approved budget revisions from Project Managers
Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
Track Pricing Database
Perform contract closing activities as needed.
Obtain and verify requirements to set up new vendors.
Reconcile company credit card purchases for the entire department
Handle incoming and outgoing mails
Perform other duties as requested by the manager.

QualificationsBA/BS preferred or equivalent experience in contracts administration
At least 1-2 years + of experience working as an administrator/contract specialist
We are seeking candidates that are self-directed and have experience managing high volume of contracts per month
Ability to interpret, understand, review and draft vendor contracts and amendments
Manage contract process from initiation to execution
Demonstrated functional knowledge of database entry
Functional understanding of data, data issues, impact of duplication and errors, and impact of invalid or incorrect data on reporting and customers
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to make decision on minor issues in accordance with company policy
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Identifying and implementing process improvement
Interact directly with Third Party Vendors as needed for issues
Experience and intermediate efficiency in MS Office Excel and Word products required
