Job Summary:

The primary purpose and function of the HRIS Analyst is to act as the Workday support technical subject matter expert, provide HR system administration and support.

Essential Responsibilities:

Support various Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Onboard and Learning.

Partner closely with HRIS team, business and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.

Serve as the primary point of contact for team member inquiries and manage HRIS e-mail box and ticketing systems.

Support continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations and data security.

Ensure data integrity within the HR management system and generate standard and ad-hoc reports

Maintain and administer Workday security groups, foundational tables, and all Workday inbound and outbound integrations.

Test and support on Workday releases and updates, which includes researching functionalities, conducting testing, and educating the talent management team on enhancements, as applicable.

Develop HRIS Process documentation, Workday Documents, Job Aids and How-to Videos.

Assists with HRIS data audits and cleanup.

Works with vendors to develop data imports, exports, and reporting to establish recurring data feeds.

Assist with broadening internal knowledge of Workday through hands-on training to HRIS and other support teams.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Completes various human resources, technology, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

    Working Conditions:

  • Incumbents work in an office environment.

    Physical Demands:

  • Incumbents must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment, paper reports, and journals for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.

  • Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to ten (10) pounds independently and twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.

  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training classes, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all the daily responsibilities of this position.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Familiar with Workday HCM, Onboard and Business Process Configuration.

  • Experience with other Workday modules including Recruiting and Performance is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.

  • Exceptional people skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.

  • College degree in computer science, information technology, human resources, or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
