JOB DESCRIPTION
This position prepares meals from recipe, works with the production team to develop new offerings and with the support staff to ensure execution of service and maintain food safety standards.Prepares meals that meet strict standards for freshness and quality and follow recipes as advised.Assists in the development of new recipes including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and a variety of ethnic cuisine.Takes temperatures of hot and cold food in the serving area multiple times per meal period and records them in the temperature log book.Practices food-handling skills, maintains a clean work area, and adheres to sanitation rules.Works closely with the Food Service Supervisor to ensure consistent application of presentation of menu offerings.Notifies management of any product outages or any spoiled product.Adjusts menu production and service techniques and assists in the creation of programs to monitor food production and eliminate food waste, to include policies for leftover use and portion control.Benefits provided
