Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest real estate developers in the nation, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Apartment Business Manager to lead the team at Lewis' latest upscale lease-up community, Harvest in Tracy in Tracy, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Partnering with the Community Manager, you will effectively co-manage property operations and staff management programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, record-keeping, community maintenance and excellent customer service in this beautiful 300+ unit, Lewis-owned community.

Your duties will include:

Assistant management of the Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds-keeping staff
* Community budgets, reports and bookkeeping
* Vendor management & invoicing
* Hiring, motivation, monitoring, and rewarding of employees
* Ensuring and promoting consistent resident satisfaction
* Working with MS Office (Word, Excel) and OneSite property management software 

To be successful, you should have 3+ years of previous experience in apartment/residential property management. 

Our best Business Managers have a strong supervisory background combined with knowledge of property budgets and bookkeeping. Basic understanding of landlord/tenant law, Fair Housing, and MS Office skills are also required. Your management background should include all aspects of operations and staff management, including resident file management, billing, vendor relations, etc. 

Your  Rewards: In addition to a competitive hourly salary starting in the $20s per hour and depending on experience, you will be eligible for commissions and annual bonus.
