RESIDENT RELATIONS SPECIALIST

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for managing the daily inquiries of our valued residents across our San Francisco and Oakland portfolio in accordance with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable laws including Rent Stabilization ordinances

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Associate Portfolio Managers and Property Managers with responding to inquiries from residents via phone calls or written communication
• Responsible for 25% of Work Order follow-ups
• Manage company Yelp account and find ways to improve ratings
• Respond to Yelp reviews within 24-hours from posting time
• Generate and manage resident nuisance letters and any/other notices necessary
• Read, understand and interpret legal documents in order to properly articulate to residents with questions
• Assist with property signage standardization and posting
• Take initiative in identifying customer needs and provide services to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Assist with posting notices on an as needed basis only
• Assist with meeting vendors to provide property access and unit access
• Perform additional tasks and projects assigned by the Associate Portfolio Manager and Property Managers

• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to diffuse challenging situations/conversations with residents
• Able to read, understand and interpret legal documents
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Proficient in writing
• YARDI experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Punctuality and Reliability are essential
• Professional appearance required
• Must have a valid California Driver's license with reliable transportation
