If you are an individual in search for a full-time position, possess strong sales skills and have that “Super Star” attitude, then continue to read this ad further!   We are seeking a star quality Leasing Consultant to join our team at our newest 270 unit apartment community, 30 work/live spaces, 21,000 SF of retail space and Marina. This exciting opportunity is located in Ventura, CA and will be the only property of its kind, featuring a public park, promenade, shopping and dining within a walkable coastal neighborhood. As the Leasing Consultant you will be responsible for maintaining occupancy goals by generating traffic, securing appointments and maximizing rentals, assisting in the total leasing efforts and integrated marketing programs of the property, participating in the presentation and monitoring of market ready product, and performing all administrative duties related to the on-site sales/marketing functions.  Additionally, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for attaining and updating, on a regular monthly basis, the competition and market survey.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of apartment lease up experience.
• Must have prior front office experience and excellent customer service and computer skills including word processing. 
• Must live locally or be willing to relocate.
• Must be able to work weekends.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:

• Some college.
• YARDI and Excel knowledge of spreadsheets desired. 
• Affordable housing experience a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to climb stairs on the property.
• Must be able to walk the property, able to walk docks including steps and steep gangways (as applicable).
• Requires use of computers and telephones. Performs some sedentary work.
• Requires some bending and kneeling for access to files, boxes or packages.
• Requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
