ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER / BUSINESS MANAGER - Natomas, CA


Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest Real Estate developers in the nation, has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Manager for a large beautiful community located in the Natomas area of Sacramento, CA.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team and share in the opportunities at Lewis.

Partnering with the community's General Manager, you will effectively co-manage property operations and staff management programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, community maintenance and EXCELLENT customer service in this beautiful 500+ unit, Lewis-owned community.

Duties will include:

Assistant management of the Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds-keeping staff
* Community budgets, reports and bookkeeping
* Vendor management
* Hiring, motivation, monitoring, and rewarding of employees
* Ensure and promote consistent resident satisfaction
* Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) required, and experience in OneSite or similar property management software is highly desired

To be successful, you should have 3+ years of previous experience in apartment/residential property management. 

Our best Business Managers have a strong supervisory background combined with knowledge of property budgets and bookkeeping. Basic understanding of landlord/tenant law, Fair Housing, and MS Office skills are also required. Your management background should include all aspects of operations and staff management, including resident file management, billing, vendor relations, etc. 

This is a full-time position competitive salary of $40,000+ depending on experience, plus commission potential. Other parts of your offer would include a variety of medical/dental benefits plans, life insurance, annual bonus potential and 401k benefits with company match.
