About the Assistant Manager Role

The Assistant Manager is enthusiastic, likable, able to interact well with different personalities and looking to grow personally and professionally while learning about the world of investment residential property management. Assistant Property Manager is a dynamic role that requires an individual who is proactive and driven with a sense of urgency. The ideal candidate will be a productive self-starter with a desire to grow with KSV and advance to larger roles within the company. The ideal candidate possesses attention to detail with observation (inspections), design (marketing rental properties), when completing tasks and processes (systems), etc. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with the attitude and judgment to make good decisions.

Typical activities in the role would include, but not be limited to, show properties to prospective residents (leasing), take photos/video and write property descriptions of rent-ready rental properties (marketing), conduct move-in/move-out/annual assessments (inspections), interaction with residents/owners/vendors (customer service), and time in the field (travel throughout Santa Clara County), and much more.

Qualifications

Traits: strong ability to interact with different personality types, outgoing, likable, happy/positive, hip, intelligent

• Prior residential property management experience (a plus but not required)
• Reliable transportation and the ability to use GPS
• Experience in customer service, marketing, sales a plus
• Desire to grow and learn
• Flexible schedule
• An extraordinary eye for detail
• Must be willing to travel within Santa Clara County
• Proactive, self-starter, trustworthy, time management skills
• Tech-savvy (smartphone, mobile apps, computer skills)
• Professional

Compensation

• Base salary of $18-$22 per hour (depending on the level of experience)
• Mileage reimbursement
