Maintenance Technician

Mutual Housing Management (MHM) is a property management firm affiliated with Mutual Housing California. The mission of Mutual Housing Management is to be an exceptional steward of our portfolio of multifamily housing properties to support long‐term sustainability.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing the day-to-day maintenance functions at the property while following our company’s standards and procedures. Some of the specific duties and responsibilities include:

- Completion of work orders in a timely and quality manner

- Performing repairs in various trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall and painting

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized shop with proper inventory control

- Establishing resident satisfaction and positive relationships by providing great customer service

- Timely completion of unit turnovers with attention to detail

- Performing preventative maintenance responsibilities and submitting logs as required

- Cleaning grounds and common areas daily to ensure great curb appeal

- Responding to after-hours maintenance emergency calls promptly

- Scheduling and monitoring services provided by approved vendors


This position does not include an on-site unit.
