The Communications & Process Analyst will assist in standardizing operating processes and procedures that will be used companywide. This position will work closely with the Operations team and other departments to ensure processes support the company’s goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with business area experts to identify the key operational tasks and processes to be standardized related to leasing, maintenance, and management that creates operational efficiencies and enhances the resident's experience
Collaborate with other corporate departments that impact operations to identify the key operational tasks and processes to be standardized to create efficiencies and enhance the associate’s experience
Test draft processes in sandbox system environments for reasonability
Ability to organize unstructured data to identify trends and make recommendations
Analyze pilot results and feedback to determine the most efficient and effective methods
Create one-pagers to make sound recommendations for process changes
Write the recommended operational activities and tasks in a clear and concise manner by role
Create and execute implementation plans that include approval requests, communications, and webinar schedules
Write communications necessary to obtain all approvals required to implement processes
Draft announcements that clearly communicate process changes and new processes
Assist in conducting site visits to investigate the effectiveness of current processes and determine areas of improvement
Design necessary templates and documents
Maintain process management systems, learning and development systems, and the company’s intranet to ensure consistent and accurate information
Any other assigned projects and tasks
Qualifications:
Management experience at multiple asset types (garden style, mid-rise/podium, high-rise)
Expertise in writing communications for a variety of audiences including on site associates, Regional Property Managers, VPs, etc.
Exceptional verbal and written skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a professional & fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Yardi
Experience and familiarity with MS Excel pivot tables, vlookup, index match, charts, and basic formulas Essex offers a comprehensive benefits package that reflects how much we value our associates and their families:
