Furnished Housing Director

These markets are located in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Pacific Northwest and Northern and Southern California regions of the country. We currently own and operate approximately 82,000 apartment homes in the US and employ approximately 3,000 associates. We are currently searching for a Furnished Housing Director to join our national operations team. This role will be basedat our corporate headquarters office in Arlington, VA.

The Furnished Housing Director will oversee and manage AvalonBay’s Furnished Housing program. In this role, you will set strategy for pricing, asset selection and scale, customer segments, and profitability. You will also conduct in depth analysis of markets, demand, pricing, and demographics. You will also develop and execute business plan to expand program beyond its current state.

The position reports to the Sr. Vice President – Operations & Investment Services. Qualified candidates will have bachelor's degree, minimum 5+ years solid experience in corporate housing or hotel industry preferred. MA degree in Business or Real Estate is a plus.
