For details, please refer to company website: http://www.essex.com.RESPONSIBILITIES: As an integral member of the Finance team reporting to a senior finance executive, this role is responsible for asset management and day to day oversight of a $4BN multifamily portfolio. Specific responsibilities include:Understand Partnership & Management Agreements in order to manage the day to day affairs of the Partnership and execute the approved business planReview and analyze operating results, tour properties and work with Operations team to understand and communicate asset performance relative to the marketWork with the Redevelopment team to review and assess capital expenditure plans, including value-add renovations to maximize property performance and cash flowPerform financial analysis and prepare comprehensive asset plans, including modeling cash flow and financing plans to optimize portfolio returnsManage the annual operating budget review and approval process with internal team and external investorsProduce asset and financial performance reports and market updates for investorsManage and support general department activities, including investment materials both for internal and external constituentsQUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have a high growth potential with a proven track record in the following:Minimum 5 years of experience in the real estate industry required. Experience in asset management, portfolio management, or regional property management in the multifamily sector preferredStrong analytical, organizational, attention to detail and accuracy, written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and effective collaborative working styleBachelors degree requiredCOMPENSATION: We offer an exciting opportunity to grow and develop with a well- established firm along with an attractive compensation package comprised of a base salary and annual performance incentive.
