We are currently searching for an Analyst to support our Investment Services & Support department in our Arlington, VA corporate headquarters.

This unique and high profile position is responsible for creating and maintaining investment tools utilized by Development, Redevelopment & Asset Management, and Investments in the sourcing, planning, and execution of the organization’s Development, Redevelopment, Acquisition, and Disposition activity. This role works collaboratively with these functions and internal resources to identify, design, and implement improvements to the investment process while also ensuring consistency in tools and processes across the multiple functions.

• Support new investment activity via the creation and maintenance of standardized underwriting guidelines, target returns, real estate proposal templates, and investment authority charts
• Prepares reporting and analysis of investment activities including periodic internal and external reporting of investment activity, stabilized variance analyses, deal specific and ad hoc analysis
• Understand how IBEAM and Vena are used by investment functions, assist with onboarding and ongoing support, and ensure related policies and procedures are updated
• Administer the organization's investment related business unit performance plans, including calculation of business unit achievement, testing and implementation of plan modifications, and communication of achievement to Management.
• Respond to and address inquiries from Development, Redevelopment & Asset Management, and Investments associates timely and in a manner that considers the organization's policies, procedures, and the potential impacts to other functional areas.
• Develops and communicates new policies and procedures and facilitates compliance with existing standard operating procedures and policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration/Management required
• 2+ years of experience in a business environment in an accounting, finance, or process engineering role
• Experience in real estate/construction industry preferred
• Displays outstanding financial and process analysis skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to design performance solutions to support business goals and improve performance.
• Exhibits strong project management skills, including the ability to manage projects across multiple business units.
• Builds relationships and works collaboratively at all levels of the organization as demonstrated in prior work environment.
