Residential Property Manager

Who you are

As a Property Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of managing multi-family residential building from operations and financial activities to managing important relationships with our tenants, property owners and vendors. From managing service contracts and overseeing tenant improvements, to completing property inspections and making recommendations, you’ll have the opportunity to share your innovative ideas to continually improve how we manage our properties.

What you bring:

  • Five or more years of experience in management of multi-family projects
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis including variance of actual vs. budget numbers and appropriately identify opportunities to maximize income
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel) and real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, etc.
  • Experience with contract and leasing agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and competency in basic business math skills.
  • Experience and a desire to lead a team
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Bonus skills and experience

  • CPM or CAM certification
  • Experience with renovations/property repositioning

What success looks like:

  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors and contractors.
  • You respond in a timely manner to tenants’ needs to meet lease obligations.
  • You are responsible for annual budget preparation and monthly financial reports.
  • You successfully manage all operations tasks.
  • You support senior management by preparing regular ownership reports.
  • You collect rents, including implementation of timely legal delinquent rent procedures
  • You assure resident insurance compliance procedures are in place
  • You assure screening criteria and policies are adhered to
  • You approve invoices and ensure timely and accurate data input
