Resident Apartment Manager

We are seeking an Apartment Manager to supervise a small apartment community located in the city of Glendale, California. This is a part time position and the employee is required to live on site. 

Responsibilities include: providing excellent customer service to our valued residents, scheduling and monitoring one part time maintenance worker and vendors, leasing units, preparing and serving reports and  notices, and other administrative duties.

 As this is a small complex, these duties are mainly accomplished within a flexible part-time schedule. However, the employee must be able to respond to occasional after hours emergency calls.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years recent experience as manager or leasing agent of rental or apartment units in the state of California is required. Knowledgeable in California Landlord/tenant and Fair Housing laws, and basic property management forms.

Basic computer skills, organizational abilities, and good written and verbal communication skills are required.
