Assistant Property Manager
Riverside, CA
We have an immediate opening for a full time, highly organized and professional assistant apartment manager for a 148 unit Tax Credit property in Riverside, CA.
DUTIES:
-Maintains accurate resident records. Updates on daily basis all rents, deposits and application fees received from residents. Issues appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
-Makes deposits to the bank.
-Must be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and resident retention.
-Works with lease renewals each month.
-Greets prospective clients, shows community and performs leasing duties.
-Answers and handles incoming phone calls from prospective new residents, current residents, vendor/suppliers, etc.
-Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contributes ideas to Community Manager for marketing community and improving resident satisfaction.
-Receives all telephone calls and in-person visits. Listens to resident requests, concerns and comments.
-Maintains a positive customer relations attitude.
-Complies with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
-Performs any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- Serves as a backup for all Community Manager duties.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
-Must be dependable and follow through on commitments. Must produce timely work to required- or higher-standards, and pitches in to get the job completed.
-Must be attentive to detail and adheres to company standards.
Salary/Housing is negotiable. Benefits offered after 90 day probation period.
