Location: Regional Office - Maitland, FL

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to produce high quality, innovative resources and curriculum for Pinnacle team members working within all levels of the organization. This position is focused on the technical aspects of developing online learning modules, interactive documents, videos, games and other forms of multi-media training.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Consult with the business on programming ideas based on review of instructional design documents. Utilize storyboard to fully implement final course files using various software programs and publishing options.
  • Articulate challenges of development of classes to the Instructional Designer(s) and partner on solutions. Leverage adult learning theory and cutting edge technique to develop quality e-learning programs and engaging learning resources.
  • Collaborate with content experts and the Learning and Development team to ensure quality, accuracy and functionality of all training materials.
  • Develop and/or procure graphics, content and sound to incorporate into e-learning applications.
  • Regularly review existing curriculum to ensure that content is current, accurate and functional. Coordinate, troubleshoot and complete updates as needed.
  • Produce engaging online assessments under direction of the Learning and Development team to measure retention and ensure learning transfer.
  • Create educational resources including videos, games, assessments and interactive documents to supplement course curriculum. Identify and procure appropriate value-added links, images or other content from internal and external sources.
  • Film and edit video content for University of Pinnacle TV and Learning and Development marketing communication.
  • Serve as a producer for virtual classroom sessions.
  • Research third-party learning tools and solutions, and provide recommendations for improving existing offerings and resources.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in all digital production software and tools utilized by the Learning and Development team.
  • Ensure that quality standards are consistently met and delivered with adherence to deadlines.
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders, suppliers and vendors to obtain resources or materials.
  • Schedule, facilitate and participate in meetings related to initiatives and project management.
  • Apply research and critical thinking skills to assess current and prospective technologies and innovative products to enhance the student experience in the online classroom.
  • Achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual attendance and reports any tardiness, attendance and disciplinary issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
