Job Description
A fully-integrated national multifamily investment, development, and property management company is looking for an Online Curriculum Design Associate in its Irving, TX regional office to support the execution of the Company’s property management software platform by designing, developing, and implementing training curriculum that drives software acclimation and enhanced customer satisfaction thereby improving team member performance. Job Responsibilities:
  • Participates in establishing the annual goals and objectives for online curriculum programs, projects, and initiatives that align with the overall IT business plan and the Company’s strategy and philosophy related to team member education, development, performance, and retention.
  • Monitors, researches, recommends and incorporates emerging trends in online training and e-learning course curriculum design.
  • Oversees and implements program evaluation methods that measure participant learning and impact on performance by developing surveys, tests and follow-up evaluations for reporting on training results.
  • Reviews, makes recommendations for, and updates existing program materials to reflect changes in the Company’s business practices and industry trends and recommends implementation approaches that ensure that updated programs integrate into the curriculum.
  • Monitors end user feedback and Learning Management System (LMS) development efforts to ensure that system issues and user enhancement requests are addressed and resolved quickly.
  • Oversees the administration of Greystar's Learning Management System (LMS) by managing and communicating with on-line training partners and service providers as needed, assisting in the resolution of systems or user-related issues and problems.
  • Facilitates in the selection of third-party training partners by researching proposed vendors, contractors, and service providers, arranging demonstrations and pilots, evaluating products and services, and conducting tests to determine appropriateness to the Company’s online curriculum and needs.
  • Provides customer service by responding to requests for training, recommending internal training solutions, addressing and resolving issues, concerns, and problems logged via the Helpdesk.
  • Provides custom reports and ad hoc analysis as required by various internal business groups related to training performance.
  • Lead through the management of an additional curriculum design associate(s) while coordinating with the appropriate internal customers and the software training department leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in education, communications, business systems, computer science, or related field and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an education or training background sufficient to design and provide educational information and training classes to staff and management in operations, management and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to create and make presentations to managers and staff, and to design and teach information systems programs and classes.
  • High-level proficiency in creating curriculum, training programs, participant and facilitator learning materials, instructional activities and events, and activities for a wide variety of formats and delivery systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in e-learning design principles and associated authoring tools (i.e. Articulate Storyline Software, Captivate, Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe Pro, PowerPoint 2010, etc.)
  • Lead question-and-answer and other discussions, manage conflict and disagreement, and bring closure to project-related design and work sessions.
  • High degree of proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports, evaluate applications and systems, and produce necessary communication materials.
  • Proficient in project management skills, developing and implementing complex project plans, and managing multiple priorities against established budgets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience in real estate or property management is a plus but not required if candidate has the ability to learn business processes quickly in order to develop fact-based procedures, instructions, and training materials.
