Reliant Asset Management Solutions is a non-profit organization formed to further the mission of operating and sustaining Affordable Housing.  Services offered include providing full service property management and physical inspections related to Affordable Housing units and other related services.


Under general supervision performs duties involved in the inspection on contract properties and property for lease; reviews, monitors and analyzes local housing market rents and reviews/approves reasonable contract rents.

Position will have a home based out of San Bernardino but will be expected to travel throughout the County of San Bernardino and local surrounding Counties. This is a part-time position working 27 hours - 3 days per week.


  • Performs initial, annual, special and vacated unit housing inspections to ensure the proper condition of units and that the units comply with Federal, State, and local building, construction and health codes as indicated for review by the contracted Housing Authorities Administrative Plan and local policy guidance.
  • Inspects (and may schedule) properties for lease to determine if they meet HUD housing quality standards and general conditions of safety and sanitation; prepares a property condition document which describes the repair requirements necessary to bring the property up to an acceptable condition; schedules, performs and documents HUD required inspections, coordinating inspections activities with contracted agencies personnel.
  • Advises and assists property owners and residents of unit maintenance needs identified from inspections or complaints; conducts follow-up inspections of completed work and repairs.
  • Conducts rent comparison studies to determine fair and equitable rent schedules; utilizing contracted agencies approved processes and procedures which may include GoSection8 comparable, as well as collecting rent trend data from real estate brokers, financial institution personnel, and others with real property knowledge.


High school diploma or equivalent; at least two (2) years' experience in either building inspection, property management, Housing Choice Voucher eligibility/occupancy or building maintenance preferred.  Other relevant experience in a customer service role will be considered.  Must have a valid driver's license with ability to provide own transportation with acceptable driving record and auto insurance limits.


Part-time, hourly non-exempt position paying $18-22/hr.  Monthly cell-phone allowance of $90/mo. and auto allowance of $200/mo.  Paid holidays and sick time offered. Optional 403(b) plan offered.
