JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Community Director responsibilities will vary depending on the property location and size, but generally include:
- Developing and implementing the annual property budget
- Preparing annual business plan; setting short-term and long-term goals
- Performing financial tasks such as rent collections, invoice payment, and analysis of operating statements
- Overseeing the properties marketing program, and revise and enhance in accordance with local area competition, economy and current/future resident demographics
- Hiring, training, supervising, and motivating the property staff
- Gathering and analyzing information on competition, corporations, and the economy, and generate reporting for senior management and investors
- Communicate property reports and updates to senior management
- Providing excellent customer service to residents, and consistently provide courteous and efficient service in receiving and resolving resident’s requests and complaints.
- Maintains a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office.
- Inspect model and “market ready” apartments for cleanliness and makes sure they are in top condition for showing potential residents.
- Greets prospective residents, determines needs and preferences and follows qualification process to rent.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of property management experience, ideally in residential property management and at a similar size property. Working knowledge of industry software such as Yardi and Onesite.
