ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER FOR SENIOR CO

Looking to get your foot in the door with a great company?  RPK Development Corp. is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a lovely 169-unit Senior apartment community in Whittier.  

The ideal candidate will have managerial and leasing experience and is customer-service oriented. Must be able to handle all tenant issues in a professional manner.

Duties:

• Meets and greets prospective and current residents.

• Interacting with current and prospective residents.

• Inspects models and “market-ready” vacancies to ensure cleanliness.

• Fosters a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, communities and associated agencies.

• Handle all aspects of leasing including, but not limited to touring, accepting and processing applications, phones, call backs and thank you cards.

• Preparation of correspondence such as rent charges, eviction notices, collections, etc.

• Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company procedures.

• Conduct unit inspections.

• Maintain the safety and security of the apartment community at all times.

• Assist in planning senior events at the property.

• All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Yardi Voyager experience required

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

• Affordable, Tax Credit, Bond or Section 8 is a plus

• Basic math proficiency required

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Highly motivated and able to work independently

• Excellent organizational skills; attention to details, strong verbal and written communication skills

• Works patiently, professionally and cooperatively with future and current residents, providing exceptional customer service at all times

• Preserves and respects resident and applicant confidentiality
