Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for our beautiful apartment communities located in Renton and Bremerton.

Under the supervision of the Community Director, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the completion of general maintenance tasks including service requests, turnover functions and building maintenance in order to assist in maintaining and preserving the property, and to provide a quality living environment for the residents.

Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the property, and performance of basic plumbing, painting, appliance repair, electrical, construction and other general maintenance duties
• Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service to all residents and completing maintenance requests
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or GHP Management Corporation
• Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment
• Must be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a general maintenance experience, ideally in residential property management. Due to the nature of the position, the incumbent may be required to work varied hours for on-call emergency service.
