LEASING AGENT-TAX CREDIT

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Leasing Agent well versed and current in all aspects of Tax Credits for a large multi-family apartment community near Loma Linda, CA. Under the direct supervision of the Community Manager, you will assist in the daily activities of marketing and leasing of the apartment community. The ideal candidate will have prior experience specifically leasing tax credit units as well as conventional.

Job Summary

• Meets and greets prospective and current residents.

• Fosters a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, communities and associated agencies.

• Inspects models and “market-ready” vacancies to ensure cleanliness.

• Assisting in all aspects of leasing including, but not limited to touring, accepting and processing applications, verifying and qualifying applicants, phones, call backs and thank you cards.

• Preparation of correspondence such as rent charges, eviction notices, collections, etc.

• Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company procedures.

• Maintain the safety of the apartment community at all times.

• Daily reports as required.

• All other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Tax Credit leasing experience

• Yardi Voyager experience a MUST

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

• Basic math proficiency required

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Highly motivated and able to work independently

• Excellent organizational skills; attention to details, strong verbal and written communication skills

• Works patiently, professionally and cooperatively with future and current residents, providing exceptional customer service at all times

• Preserves and respects resident and applicant confidentiality
