Location/ Site Description:

At our beautiful Almaden property, located in San Jose, CA, this position oversees the operations of this 226 unit multi-family community. Looking for a dynamic and detailed person to effectively manage, market and maintain the excellence of this community.

Position Summary:

Daily interactions with residents and prospective residents to ensure resident retention and high occupancy rates. The Property Manager is responsible for the Financial and Reporting obligations, Operational management, and Supervision of staff for the community at large.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the financial responsibilities of the property including annual budget.
  • Ensures compliance with all tax credit requirements and regulations including assisting in the compliance audits as required.
  • Identifies and coordinates the maintenance activities and priorities within budgetary limits of the property.
  • Responsible for the marketing activities of the property to ensure budgeted occupancy goals.
  • Manages staff at property Leasing personnel, Maintenance personnel, and others.
  • Coordinates social activities to ensure resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Assess property security requirements and recommend changes as necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Education – High School Diploma/GED equivalent; Some college a plus
  • Years of Experience – 3-5 years related experience including Tax Credit requirements.
  • Certifications/Licensure – CAM/CPM or other industry related certifications a plus.
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience a plus.
  • Other – Ability to read, write and speak English
