Housing Technician

Housing Technician - Housing Technicians will be required to work under government-assisted affordable housing developments. Housing Technicians are required to provide service and assistance to residents of SHRA housing. Duties involve calculating tenant rents and determining ongoing eligibility for federally subsidized housing programs. Position requires heavy client contact; therefore it is essential that incumbents in this job are energetic, people-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Other essential skills include: Data Entry, Basic MS Word, Math and ability to follow instructions. Strong customer service, good interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential duties for this job. It is preferred that incumbent is familiar with standard lease terms, concepts, and practices and federal fair housing laws.
