Maintenance Technician

We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Full-time Maintenance Technician for two communities: a 132 units a family community in the city of Fremont, CA (94536) and a 33 unit senior community in Oakland, CA (94605) The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day"to"day maintenance operations of the community.

This position requires an individual with a High School diploma or general education degree (GED), and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a maintenance technician for a multi-unit property. Skills in, and experience with, such areas as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting are required, and specialized certifications, such as HVAC, are extremely desirable. Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of insurance is also required.

This individual must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees, as well as have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

What we have to offer:

This position offers a rate of $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, (depending upon experience), plus benefits after 90 days which include medical, dental, life, and a profit sharing 401(k) plan.
