Compliance Specialist A Los Angeles area Property Management firm has immediate opening for a Full-Time Compliance Specialist. The Specialist is required to apply the 4350.3 Procedures outlined by HUD. The Specialist is responsible for conducting Annual Contracts (Recertifications) and Interims (Adjustments in between the year). Create monthly Billings (Voucher) to HUD, run TRACS, post tenant rents, open and close each property monthly, and maintain all tenant files as outlined by HUD and Company standards and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: - Annual Contract (Recertifications) - Post tenant payments - Maintain tenant files - Review reports - Distribute reports (as required) - Process Move outs - Review tenant statements (receipts) for managers - Interact with tenants - Interims (adjustments in between the year) - Inform tenant of all rent changes - Retrieve and return tenant telephone calls - File reports and correspondence - Generate monthly reports for Compliance Director - Approval Annual/IR Recertifications - Conduct file review prior to Management and Compliance Review REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: - Must have prior project based Section 8 property management experience to be considered for this position - Must have prior Tax Credit experience - Must have experience in accounting and receivables with prior leasing - Good listening and verbal communication skills are a must - Must have excellent customer service skills - Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi Competitive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401k If you are interested in joining our TEAM, email resume to: hr@21alphagroup.com or Fax 323-432-5244
