Apartment / Property Manager

Nicholas A. Stevens Company, a premier Bay Area property management company, is looking for a highly experienced Community Manager for Marlin Cove Apartments in Foster City. Marlin Cove is a 280 luxury community, with a percentage of BMR units.
Nicholas A. Stevens Company is not the typical property management company. We are developers, not fee managers. We built Marlin Cove and are extremely proud of it. It is truly a show piece in Foster City, and we need a Community Manager who knows how to keep it that way. Not just any manager is qualified to manage at Marlin Cove. This is a position for the "best of the best".
Qualifications
The right candidate must have the following attributes:
- A minimum of three years prior experience managing multi-family housing in the Bay Area
- Prior experience with high-end clients
- Full understanding of Below Market Rate housing / Able to accurately calculate income and assets using HUD guidelines.
- Professional appearance and demeanor - Conservative business suits required
- Able to provide exceptional customer service
- Extreme attention to detail
- Able to communicate professionally in writing and in person
- Able to multi-task
- Strong leasing skills
- Strong marketing skills and ability to implement an effective outreach program
- Thorough knowledge of California property management/real estate laws
- Able to prepare professional documents with no grammatical errors
- Must have an eye for detail and be able to ensure that all vacant apartments are immaculate
- Must be able to supervise a maintenance team and schedule vendors in order to expedite all work orders and turnovers
- Must be able to provide exceptional customer service, while still enforcing policies and procedures
- Must be able to live on-site in a two bedroom apartment (maximum occupancy is five household members
