About The Opportunity
The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for supporting the Community Manager in all aspects of managing a residential community, including the day-to-day operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with leasing and maintenance coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while making a real difference in the lives of our residents and the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests.
- Assist the Community Manager in ongoing resident relations, addressing resident issues, enforcing the terms of rental agreements, and overseeing rental activities.
- Be a hands-on leader, provide excellent customer service, and consistently meet and exceed goals with new prospects and current tenants.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer service-focused demeanor about the company with coworkers, tenants, and vendors.
- Lease to qualified prospects by showing available apartments when and if needed.
- Assist with the lease renewal program with initial contact and follow-up with residents.
- Routinely inspect the property and maintain accurate resident records.
- Coordinate the collection and documentation of all revenues: Following the lease obligations of tenants and the owner's policy on accounts receivable.
- Collect delinquent accounts promptly.
- Communicate with the accounting department to ensure accuracy of rent roll and accounts receivable.
- Use technological tools, including Microsoft Office software, Yardi Voyager, and CRM (an advantage), alongside effective communication styles to efficiently review tasks and ensure timely performance.
- Other additional responsibilities as designated and assigned.
What You Bring To The Team:
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Passionate property management professional with demonstrable experience as an Assistant Community Manager with Leasing experience.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with Yardi/CRM software a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Financially savvy; previous experience in creating and adhering to budgets.
- Fiscal reporting a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week.
- Hourly Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour.
