The Opportunity
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Riverside Park Apartments in Tulsa.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems, and understands the importance of keeping an apartment community running smoothly and looking its best.
What You'll Do
• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems
• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including completing repairs and ensuring homes are move-in ready
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and building systems for maintenance needs
• Assist with the upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents
• Work closely with the onsite team to keep the community operating at a high standard
What We're Looking For
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach and genuine interest in repairing and maintaining things
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general apartment maintenance
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• EPA/HVAC certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to participate in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours emergency maintenance
