Porter / Maintenance Technician - Lancaster PA !

About the Role:

The Porter / Maintenance Tech at this property plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the property. This position is essential for ensuring that residents and visitors experience a welcoming and well-kept environment. This candidate will be responsible for various maintenance tasks, including cleaning common areas, managing waste disposal, and assisting with minor repairs. Ultimately, this role supports the operational efficiency of the apartment community and fosters a positive living experience for all residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a maintenance or custodial role preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
• Customer service experience in a residential or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational facilities.
• Snow removal when needed
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to ensure a clean and environmentally friendly property.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the property management team.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns, providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and report them to management.
