Leasing Manager
Saxony at Chase Oaks Apartments – Plano, Texas
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations at Saxony at Chase Oaks Apartments, a 470-unit apartment community in Plano, Texas.
This role is ideal for a leasing professional who is passionate about sales, customer service, and coaching others to succeed. The Leasing Manager is responsible for driving occupancy, leading leasing initiatives, mentoring the leasing team, and ensuring every prospective resident receives an exceptional experience from first contact through move-in.
Candidates must currently reside near the Plano/Frisco, TX area.
Compensation: $23–$25 per hour (based on experience), plus monthly performance bonuses.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the day-to-day leasing operations while creating a positive, high-performing team environment
- Coach, mentor, and motivate leasing professionals to achieve occupancy and leasing goals
- Conduct apartment tours and present the community with professionalism, enthusiasm, and product knowledge
- Develop and execute leasing strategies that increase traffic, conversions, and resident retention
- Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize closing ratios and occupancy
- Monitor leasing performance, traffic reports, and market trends while recommending strategies to remain competitive
- Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines
- Maintain accurate prospect, resident, and leasing records using Yardi Voyager and CRM systems
- Deliver outstanding customer service to prospects and residents while effectively resolving concerns
- Collaborate with the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure apartment homes are ready for move-in and the community is presented to company standards
- Assist with resident events, renewal initiatives, and marketing efforts
What You Will Bring:
- 3 years of multifamily leasing experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Proven success in achieving leasing, occupancy, and resident retention goals
- Strong sales, closing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Professional presentation with a polished and confident demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, CRM software, or similar property management systems preferred
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license
