Burbank Housing is based in Santa Rosa, California, 50 miles north of San Francisco in the beautiful California Wine Country. It was created to act cooperatively with local governments, social service organizations, and for-profit developers to add to low-income rental housing available in Sonoma County, as well as to develop affordable homeownership opportunities. Burbank Housing manages more than 2,00 affordable apartments in 68 developments for low-income families, seniors, and special needs tenants throughout Sonoma & Napa Counties. New developments are currently under construction. Burbank Housing has also completed over 700 for-sale affordable homes in 31 developments for very-low, low-, and moderate-income families. Of the for-sale affordable homes, more than 500 have been constructed using the mutual self-help method of providing affordable housing.
