Someone walks into the leasing office looking for an apartment. Your job is to help them picture a home.
That starts with asking the right questions, listening to what matters to them, and showing them how the community fits their needs. But it doesn’t end when the tour does. Following up, answering questions, and helping someone take that next step are just as important.
At The Preserve, we’re looking for a Part-Time Leasing Professional who enjoys connecting with people and understands that great customer service and strong sales skills go hand in hand. You don’t need to know everything about leasing on day one, but you do need to bring initiative, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Make a strong first impression. Welcome prospective residents and respond to phone, email, and online inquiries with friendly, helpful service.
- Give tours with a purpose. Learn what each prospect is looking for, highlight the community’s features, and confidently ask for the lease.
- Follow through. Stay in touch with prospects, answer outstanding questions, and keep accurate records of conversations and next steps.
- Keep the details organized. Assist with applications, leasing paperwork, and move-in preparations so important steps don’t get missed.
- Support current residents. Help with questions and concerns, connect residents with the right team members, and contribute to a welcoming community.
- Help showcase The Preserve. Support marketing efforts, social media, and community events while keeping the leasing office, model, and tour areas ready for visitors.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in leasing, sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service is helpful, but a willingness to learn matters.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make people feel comfortable without losing sight of the leasing goal.
- Organization and attention to detail—you can manage conversations, paperwork, and follow-ups without letting things slip.
- Comfort using computers, email, and learning new software.
- A dependable teammate who makes the most of their scheduled hours and takes ownership of their work.
