Leasing Professional — RISE Baymeadows
Compensation: $22–$24 per hour
It Starts with a Conversation. What Happens Next Is Where You Make the Difference.
A prospect is comparing communities. They have questions, a move-in deadline, and a decision to make. You’re the person who listens, helps them picture life in their next home, and follows through after the tour—not just the person who hands them a brochure.
At RISE Baymeadows, we’re looking for a Leasing Professional who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine interest in people. Someone who enjoys building relationships but also understands that leasing is a sales role. Being welcoming matters. So does asking for the lease, staying organized, and following up when someone hasn’t made a decision yet.
If you enjoy connecting with people and working toward a goal, this could be your next move.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Turn interest into action. Respond to calls, emails, and online inquiries, learn what prospects need, and help them take the next step toward finding their home.
- Lead tours that feel personal. Connect the community’s features to each prospect’s priorities rather than giving everyone the same presentation.
- Own your follow-up. Keep accurate prospect notes, answer outstanding questions, address concerns, and confidently ask for the lease.
- Keep the leasing process moving. Assist with applications, leasing paperwork, and move-in preparations while keeping details accurate and organized.
- Support the resident experience. Help residents with questions, communicate concerns to the appropriate team members, and support renewal efforts.
- Keep the community ready to show. Pay attention to the leasing office, model, and tour path, and partner with the onsite team to address anything that needs attention.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in leasing, sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service is helpful.
- Strong communication skills—you can start a conversation, ask thoughtful questions, and listen to the answers.
- A sales-minded approach with the confidence to discuss options, address concerns, and ask for a commitment.
- Organization and attention to detail, especially when balancing tours, inquiries, paperwork, and follow-ups.
- Comfort using computers, email, and learning leasing software.
- Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to contribute wherever the team needs support.
What Success Looks Like
Your prospects know what happens next because you’ve stayed in touch. Your paperwork is accurate. Your tours feel like conversations, not scripts. You know your availability, understand your leasing goals, and take ownership of the work needed to reach them.
Just as importantly, you treat current residents with the same care and attention you give someone considering their first lease.
Why RISE?
At RISE Baymeadows, your work helps shape someone’s experience from their first inquiry to move-in day and beyond. This is an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen your sales skills, and contribute to a community people are proud to call home.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in both the result and how they get there—with professionalism, teamwork, and follow-through.
Interested?
Bring your people skills, your initiative, and your drive to turn a great conversation into a new resident’s next chapter.
