About the Role:
Paragon Residential Management LLC is looking for a driven and experienced Property Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic residential property while delivering an exceptional living experience for residents. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for property management, we want to hear from you! This is a part time opportunity requiring some level of flexibility. A typical work week would consist of 30 hours M-F 9:00 - 2:00.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Glen Esk Apartments in Glenville, NY, ensuring smooth and efficient management
- Market vacant units, conduct showings, and manage the leasing process from application to move-in
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and property inspections
- Monitor budgets, collect rent, and manage accounts receivable and delinquency follow-up
- Ensure properties remain in compliance with local housing codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate records including lease agreements, financial reports, and resident communications
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in residential property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations in New York State
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits
- Real estate license or property management certification (CAM, CPM) is a plus
