Summary
BeMore Staffing is currently recruiting for a temporary-to-permanent position as a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician within a residential community. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency and resident satisfaction of the property by managing a wide array of repair and upkeep tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality service to residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive maintenance duties encompassing electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and painting projects.
- Restore and maintain structural components, including fixtures, cabinetry, doors, walls, and exterior building elements.
- Provide superior customer service to residents, clients, and colleagues while addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee unit turnover preparations to ensure all standards are met prior to new move-ins.
- Implement and manage annual preventative maintenance schedules.
- Conduct grounds upkeep activities such as debris removal, sweeping, and light landscaping.
- Support management with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
Requirements: & Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of six months of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or a comparable setting.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in unit make-ready procedures, apartment repairs, and basic groundskeeping.
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation to commute to the job site.
- Own and utilize the necessary basic maintenance tools to perform daily operational tasks.
- Exhibit strong organizational abilities with the capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
- HVAC experience is preferred; candidates must provide valid proof of EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate 1–2 years of specific experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, and HVAC systems (preferred).
