Join our growing Maintenance Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Tampa, FL!
🛠️ Position: Maintenance Technician
📍 Location: Meridian Pointe Apartments, located in Tampa, FL
🕗 Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation. 40 hours per week, weekend rotation required.
✅ Key Qualifications:
· EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA but possess the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75 days on the job.
· Valid Driver's License is required for this position
· Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, new construction experience preferred
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
💰 What We Offer:
· Competitive base hourly pay, full time, 40 hours per week, full Employee medical and other benefits such as Pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more
· Automatic quarterly (every 3 months) pay increases after initial 90 days of service

🔑 Responsibilities:
· Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
· Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
· Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
· Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
· Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
· Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
· Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
· Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
· Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
· Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
· Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
📝 Requirements:
Education:
· High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
· Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
· Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
· Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
· Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
· EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
· Valid Driver's License required
· Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
