Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant / Technician to ensure the upkeep of our buildings and grounds. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this role is vital to maintaining a safe, professional environment for our clients and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs: Complete work orders involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment repair.
Unit Readiness: Prepare units for daily move-in and perform preventative maintenance on building systems.
Grounds Upkeep: Maintain community appearance, including landscaping, snow removal, trash removal, and lighting inspections.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all emergency and safety plans, operating power tools and equipment according to safety protocols.
Professionalism: Interact courteously with residents, visitors, and vendors while maintaining Alpas Wellness management standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
3 to 5 years of maintenance experience (apartment or facility experience preferred).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer literacy and ability to provide your own basic tools.
CFC Type I and II or Universal certification is preferred.
Compensation:
$24-$26/hr DOE
Schedule:
1pm - 9:30pm
Every other weekend required
