This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating a great experience for prospective and current residents, and working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
As a Multi-Site Leasing Consultant, you will travel between assigned communities to support leasing activity, conduct tours, process applications and leases, assist with resident retention, and support marketing and community engagement initiatives. You will work closely with Community Managers and property teams to help maximize occupancy and deliver an exceptional resident experience.
What You'll Do
Leasing & Sales
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current residents.
Conduct property tours and showcase available apartment homes and community amenities.
Assist prospects throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiry through application and move-in.
Process rental applications and lease documentation accurately and efficiently.
Collect required deposits and ensure leases are fully executed and payments are received before providing keys or access codes.
Maintain strong occupancy levels across assigned communities, with a goal of achieving 95% or higher collected occupancy.
Monitor vacant apartments and conduct weekly checks to ensure units are clean, ready, and tour-ready.
Perform key rentals and coordinate access for prospects.
Support leasing activities for current and future available units.
Resident Relations & Retention
Build positive relationships with residents and provide courteous, professional service.
Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts, with a focus on maintaining strong occupancy and renewing leases at or near market rates.
Complete resident move-in and move-out checklists and assist with the overall move-in/move-out experience.
Help ensure apartments are ready for move-in, including completing unit inspections and preparing move-in gifts when appropriate.
Respond to resident questions and requests and assist Community Managers with resolving issues.
Distribute resident communications, including newsletters, notices, and other community information.
Assist with resident appreciation events and other resident engagement activities.
Property Operations
Assist Community Managers with entering and closing maintenance work orders.
Maintain accurate resident and leasing records within the property management system.
Upload completed leases and required documentation within established timelines.
Complete required move-out and vacate documentation.
Prepare and submit weekly activity reports and time records.
Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, property operations, ownership, and company information.
Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and federal, state, and local housing regulations.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Conduct Open Houses and participate in leasing events and special community events.
Assist with marketing initiatives designed to attract prospective residents and increase occupancy.
Help develop and implement resident retention and incentive programs with management approval.
Support community events and initiatives that create a positive resident experience.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience preferred, preferably in multifamily housing, leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Professional, friendly, and confident when interacting with prospects, residents, coworkers, vendors, and business partners.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently across multiple locations.
Highly dependable and reliable.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
Honest and accurate timekeeping and recordkeeping.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to travel between assigned apartment communities.
Education
A college degree is not required. Relevant work experience in leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
