Overview
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and helping residents? We are looking for a dependable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Class A luxury apartment community.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general apartment maintenance. HVAC certification is preferred, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders.
- Diagnose and repair issues involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general apartment maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and apartment units.
- Perform apartment inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Complete apartment repairs and prepare units for move-in as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment and determine when additional assistance or outside vendors are required.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property management, vendors, and contractors.
- Document completed work orders and communicate repair status as needed.
- Identify hazardous conditions and take immediate action to correct or report them.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, positive attitude with residents
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
- Apartment/multifamily maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- HVAC experience preferred; EPA certification/HVAC certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
