Legacy on Lynnfield is seeking a dependable, EPA Certified Maintenance Technician to help maintain our community and provide exceptional service to our residents. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
What You'll Do
- Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in compliance with EPA Section 608 requirements.
- Perform general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and property reliability.
- Identify and address safety concerns throughout the community.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of common areas and grounds as needed.
- Participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
- Use property management software and mobile technology to manage work orders, inventory, and maintenance records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- 1–2 years of apartment or property maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 75 pounds regularly. Candidates must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Weekend availability as needed
- Participation in on-call emergency rotations
