Super 8 by Wyndham in Valdosta is looking for a dependable and motivated Maintenance Engineer to help keep our property safe, clean, and running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests. Repair and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs. Inspect hotel systems and identify maintenance needs before they become problems. Maintain the exterior of the property, including parking areas and landscaping as needed. Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance is a plus). Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and work independently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
