ASRC Federal Advanced Research, LLC (AFAR) is seeking a Real Estate & Property Management Administrator/Specialist to support a potential contract with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) in Norman, Oklahoma.

Summary: The Real Estate & Property Management Administrator/Specialist serves as the National Weather Service’s lead specialist for real property, land use, and site‑siting matters related to existing and future radar installations helping to support the Radar Next program. This role combines real estate expertise, right‑of‑way acquisition experience, engineering literacy, and project management discipline to ensure radar facilities remain fully compliant, operational, and strategically located.
The individual is responsible for managing leases, easements, property negotiations, permitting, and landholder relationships while coordinating closely with engineering teams who oversee radar modernization, sustainment, and lifecycle planning. The position requires a strong understanding of siting criteria, environmental and local regulatory constraints, timelines, and the interplay between infrastructure development and mission‑critical weather operations.
Ideal candidates will have experience in public utilities, telecommunications infrastructure, or federal real property management (GSA experience strongly preferred).
