Maintenance Technician (Plumbing Focus) – Full-Time W-2 Employee

At Home Real Estate Services is seeking a dependable, experienced Maintenance Technician with strong plumbing skills to join our in-house maintenance team.

This is a full-time W-2 employee position serving residential rental properties throughout the Springfield Metro area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with residents, and enjoys solving maintenance problems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including:
  • Water leaks
  • Drain clogs
  • Toilet repairs and replacements
  • Faucet and fixture repairs
  • Garbage disposal replacement
  • Water heater troubleshooting and replacement
• Complete general apartment and residential maintenance as needed (basic knowledge preferred) 
• Perform miscellaneous repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate work orders and communicate professionally with residents and office staff

Qualifications

• Strong residential plumbing experience required
• Experience in residential property maintenance preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $25/hour, depending on experience
• Full-time W-2 employee position

Schedule
